From Network Systems to Technical Project Management

Two honors-level degrees gave me complementary foundations in computer networking and the planning required to carry technical work forward.

Two programs built complementary foundations in network systems and Technical Project Management.

My formal technical education developed in two stages at ITT Technical Institute.

In December 2001, I graduated with High Honors with an Associate of Science in Computer Network System Technology. The program established my foundation in the systems and networks that would become central to my work in information technology.

In June 2004, I completed a bachelor's degree in Technical Project Management, graduating with Honors. That second degree added a complementary perspective: technical work also has to be planned, communicated, coordinated, and carried through to completion.

Together, the two programs gave me a useful combination. I could understand the technology itself while also thinking about the people, priorities, and steps required to put it into practice. That combination continued into later roles across IT operations, infrastructure, technical leadership, and consulting.
